Brookes began his racing career in 2004 when he won the World Supersport round at Philip Island as a wild card. He then returned to win Australia’s Superbike and Supersport titles in 2005 on a Honda. He made his first appearance in the Bennetts BSB and has since become the most successful rider on the current BSB grid, celebrating over 50 race wins and two title victories, the first in 2015 and the most recent in 2020.
